Russia States Pashinian’s Statement Does Not Reflect Reality
" Russia’s Defense Ministry has rebuffed a claim made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that Azerbaijani forces have trapped Russian peacekeepers along with Armenian soldiers in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
The ministry said in a Wednesday statement that the information“does not reflect the reality.”
All Russian peacekeeping units in Nagorno-Karabakh are carrying on in an orderly fashion, both at the observatory stations and while monitoring the ceasefire compliance.
The ministry added that the peacekeepers are operating in the region within the scope of the agreement between the governments of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan"
Is the Russian Ministry of Defense suggesting that Pashinian is irrational? Insane? Delusional?
"Earlier, the media published reports about a statement made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, saying that Russian peacekeeping troops are encircled by Azerbaijani forces in the Hadrut District.Link
"The information about the alleged encirclement of Russian peacekeeping forces by any parties in Nagorno-Karabakh is not true,"the ministry stressed.
The defense agency clarified that units of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh address their tasks as ordinary both in observation posts and when monitoring the ceasefire compliance. "The ceasefire is observed along the whole line of contact," the agency pointed out.
"The Russian peacekeeping contingent headquarters is in permanent contact with general staffs of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Armed Forces via direct communication channels to ensure compliance with peacekeeping tasks and prevent possible incidents," the Russian Defense Ministry added"

Turkish team begins clearing mines in Upper Karabakh
I had read that as Armenia and their friends retreated they mined (planted land mines/laid explosives) the territory. Undoubtedly to target civilians as they returned. Because this is commonly done by those forced to leave lands they occupy (under international law)
Turkey’s Defense Ministry said Wednesday that 136 members of the Special Mine Detection and Clearance Team (OMAT) began clearing mined areas of Upper Karabakh that were liberated from Armenian occupation.
It said the Turkish specialist troops will also train Azerbaijani soldiers in mine detection and clearance techniques and tactics.
