A bus carrying riot police through the Selahattin Eyyubi neighborhood is thought to have struck an improvised explosive device (IED) around 7:20 a.m. local time, according to state-run Anadolu Agency. An armored vehicle escorting the bus and several other vehicles were also damaged in the attack.
